Elementary Homecoming Week Starting September 28th

Homecoming week is almost here, and we’re excited to celebrate with a full week of dress-up days at Winfield-Mt. Union! Students are encouraged to join in the fun, show their creativity, and help fill our school with Homecoming spirit.

Elementary students will celebrate September 28–October 2 with a different theme each day:

• Monday – Generation Day: Dress as your favorite generation—senior citizen, parent, teenager, toddler, baby, or anything in between!
• Tuesday – Crazy Hair/Hat/Socks Day: Break out your craziest hairstyle, favorite hat, and fun socks.
• Wednesday – Teachers Dress as Students & Students Dress Like a Teacher: Students and staff get to switch things up for the day! Don’t forget—the Homecoming Parade begins at 6:30 p.m.
• Thursday – School Picture Day: Dress for school pictures—or go all out for “Zoom Day” with a fancy shirt on top and casual clothes on the bottom!
• Friday – Spirit Day: Finish the week by showing your WMU pride in red and white! Face painting and temporary tattoos will also be available for elementary students on Friday, October 2.

JH/HS Students

Junior High and High School students will also be celebrating Homecoming with dress-up days, but their themes will be slightly different from the elementary schedule. Watch for the JH/HS dress-up schedule for details.
